my
Story

I am an Emergency Medicine Physician and Certified Coach with a passion for helping people find clarity, resilience, fulfillment, and purpose. I bring a unique perspective and real world experience to my work, shaped by years in the ER, a personal journey through cancer and grief, and the daily adventure of being a parent.
My path to coaching was deeply personal, and it didn't come from just one place. While navigating life as a physician on the front lines of an increasingly strained healthcare system, and as a parent of young children, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That experience gave me an entirely new perspective, not just on healthcare, but on life, identity, and what it means to truly care for ourselves. A few years later, I lost my cousin and best friend suddenly, and grief taught me something cancer hadn't quite finished teaching me: that "someday" isn't guaranteed, and waiting for the right time to build the life you want is its own kind of risk.
In the middle of that season, I discovered coaching, and it was transformational. It helped me find clarity and purpose amid uncertainty, and gave me a place to actually process what I was carrying instead of just pushing through it. My experience as a client inspired me to pursue formal coaching certification through the University of British Columbia, and it changed the direction of my life.
Now, I work with healthcare workers, busy parents, professionals, and leaders who are feeling stuck, burned out, grieving, or simply ready for change. My certification includes expertise in Organizational Coaching, where I work with groups and teams within an organization or small business to foster a positive, inclusive workplace, strengthen communication, increase efficiency, and unite team members toward common goals and long term success. My approach to coaching is practical, down to earth, and personally tailored around your unique goals and priorities. I provide a supportive space to pause, reflect, and build meaningful, sustainable strategies for growth, both personally and professionally.
That same drive to build community led me to found Dream Dads, an event series and community for modern, involved fathers. It grew out of watching my own husband thrive as our family's primary parent, and out of noticing that while moms have long had support networks built just for them, dads rarely do. Dream Dads gives fathers a place to connect with their kids and with each other, without the pressure or judgment, and it's taught me even more about what real community and support can do for someone trying to show up fully for the people they love. That's exactly what I try to offer as a coach.
I continue to work in the field of emergency medicine, advocating for improvements in the healthcare system, patient safety and quality improvement, and reducing burnout and improving wellness for healthcare workers. That work keeps me grounded in the day to day reality of the people I coach. Coaching gives me a different kind of balance: the chance to connect with, support, and empower others in a way that is personal, meaningful, and lasting.
When I'm not working, I love to travel, spend time in nature, and show up for my most important (and wildest) job of all: parenting my two kids alongside my husband.
I know what it is to lose everything you thought your life was built on, twice, and to rebuild it into something that actually fits. That's what I want for you too, and you don't have to hit a crisis to get there.
If you're ready to realign with your priorities, clarify your goals, and invest in your greatest asset (you), I'm here to support you on that journey.
